It all began in 2008.

It was a time of instability and hope. The bankruptcy of a company by the name of Lehman Brothers had triggered a global recession and a man by the name of Barack Obama became the first U.S. President of African-American descent.

In a little corner of Toronto’s east side, however, something special was taking shape. The idea that we – a group of creatives – could form brands into something compelling and meaningful was becoming a reality. Although the belief in our talent was unwavering, it was the realization of the value we could bring to businesses as their brand ambassador that inspired us to form Graymatter.

Fast forward 12 years and we are facing a global pandemic. The world is in lock down. There is economic uncertainty and many businesses are taking desperate measures to stay afloat.
