Designing Community Engagement
Kombine is a digital community engagement platform built to bring music and sports fans together into one collaborative space for dialogue, feedback, and informed decision-making. Graymatter was engaged to develop the brand identity, interface design system, and PowerPoint presentation templates, ensuring a cohesive and credible experience across every touchpoint. The objective was to position Kombine not simply as a software tool, but as a trusted facilitator of connection and transparency within the sports, music and entertainment landscape. The brand identity was designed to balance institutional credibility with approachability. At its core, the visual system reflects convergence and collaboration through intersecting geometric shapes that symbolize diverse voices coming together. A confident yet modern colour palette reinforces trust, while vibrant accent tones introduce energy and inclusivity. Clean, contemporary typography ensures clarity across digital and presentation environments. The overall system was intentionally built to be flexible and scalable — professional enough to attract corporate sponsorship, yet dynamic enough to resonate with fan bases and artists.
The interface design translated this brand foundation into an intuitive and navigable product experience. We prioritized clarity in information architecture, ensuring seamless pathways for project discovery, commenting, and administrative management. A structured grid system, accessible colour contrast, modular content cards, and clear calls to action reduce cognitive load and encourage engagement. The result is a platform that feels secure, welcoming, and easy to navigate — lowering barriers to participation while maintaining professional rigor.
To support business development, we also developed a comprehensive PowerPoint template suite aligned with the brand and product interface. The system included modular slide layouts, section dividers, data-driven infographic templates, and case study formats designed to mirror the clarity and structure of the digital platform. This enabled the Kombine team to create polished, on-brand presentations efficiently while reinforcing consistency in investor pitches, municipal proposals, and community briefings.
